October 19, 2021 – Sentigy is host site for the 2021 Mentorship Program for cybersecurity  students of Lone Star College who are paired with a Mentor from the Information Systems Security Association.  This ground breaking program is the first of its kind in the Gulf Coast Area.

 

Mentors and Mentees are paired based on areas of interest for the students and areas of expertise for the Mentors.  Sentigy CEO, Cindy Boyd is the facilitator for the launch where Mentors/Mentees work together to set goals for the semester long program.

 

Lone Star College is now offering a 4-year degree program for Cybersecurity and has worked with local area CISO’s to structure curriculum that is in alignment with skills needed by area businesses.  This program is designed to  introduce students to leading professionals and assist them in becoming part of the area cybersecurity community.
